I Am Helping Military Families In Need!
My name is Roman Lloyd, I am a United States Army Veteran. Upon returning home from the war in Afghanistan I developed severe anxiety disorder. During the war I had also sustained injuries to my wrist and knee. I was able to get medical help from the VA along with disability compensation. However, due to my anxiety disorder I was not able to stay employed. Falling into debt and financial hardship, I sought out help. I was unable to find the kind of help that I was looking for. I discovered that most military or veterans programs that provide any financial assistance have many many restrictions and hoops to jump though and are very specific as to who qualifies for help. They are simply too exclusive. There just aren't organizations out there that will provide broad general assistance to military members and their families.
As our economy has continued to decline, more and more military members and military veterans along with their families have fallen into financial hardships. There have been cuts, military members have been let go early, and there has been a rapid increase in homelessness of veterans and their families. So many men and women who have served are suffering and just haven't been able to get the help and assistance that they need.
I have started an independent campaign to help U.S. military families in need. I have been fundraising and organizing a team for the soul purpose of providing assistance to military members and their families that need it. The assistance we provide is specifically tailored to each case. We genuinely care and provide a friendly human experience to those we help. Our aim is to help any and every military family that is in need, any way that we can. We do not exclude anyone from our services. We are here for All U.S. military members and families. Our only requirements are having served or are serving in the military or being the immediate family of someone who has or is serving. The military member must also have served Honorably if they are no longer in the military. We prioritize cases based on health, immediate danger, necessities, living situation, and critical need.
Here's what we need!!
Walmart/Target gift cards! We distribute these for families to get essential supplies and food!
Gas Cards! These are distributed to families with a vehicle that need help with transportation to work and to important appointments. Or that need to travel long distances.
Prepaid Cell Phones and Prepaid Time Cards! Because we are providing help to people that are going through major hardships, staying in communication is important! This is more than giving away phones to use. Cell Phones provide individuals with a lifeline in case of emergencies and are also a way for these people to be reached. By us, by family, by employers or potential employers and anyone else.
We need an HD Video Camera! We would like to be able to film and document some of our operations! We would like to be able to make cool promotional videos to help advertise and support our cause!
I need an SUV! I would like a new VW Tiguan! I need safe reliable transportation with decent gas mileage and that is able to tow a supply trailer. Our operation travels nationwide and our team deploys to go provide personal assistance to each case. My SUV recently died and I do not currently have any personal transportation. Along with allowing myself and team members to travel, and to haul supplies. This vehicle would also be used to provide rides to military members and their families to take them places they need to go, and help them get the things they need.
MONEY!! We need money! Money can be used to provide military families with everything they need! Help with medical care, debt, rent, car payments, baby products, food, shelter, clothes, repairs whatever these families really need!
Please help us give back to the men and women who have served our nation! They need help, and we need help to provide them with it!
