Simply use the "Start Now" link in the upper-righthand corner
of any page.
How do
people give me what I'm asking for?
At the bottom of every listing is a form. Donors simply fill
this out to let us know they are interested in helping you out.
Depending on what you're asking for, we will either put you
in contact with them directly, or we will speak with them on your
behalf.
How
will I know if someone is interested in my listing?
We will contact you via e-mail.
Do
I have to worry about scammers contacting me?
Not with Outrageous Requests. Unlike other companies who post your personal contact information for everyone to see, our process has the donor submit their request to us first. This process enables us to screen for legitimate donors.
How do I
edit my listing?
Simply visit the Enhancement page and click on the "Add to Cart" link under Edit Listing. There is a small $5.00 charge to edit your listing; however, this also bumps your listing back to the beginning which will increase your exposure.
Can
I have my listing moved back to the top?
You certainly can. For a small fee of $5.00, you may bump your listing back to the top. This increases your exposure. You may use the PayPal link below. As soon as the payment is verified, we will bump up your listing. Again, this can take up to 48 hours. Click here to bump your listing.
Does
Outrageous Requests take a portion of donations given to me?
No we do not. The only expenses we have are the ones to keep
your listing active.
Where
does my listing show up?
The featured listings show on the home page and the complete list of requests are on their own page located here. This page is accessible from every page on our web site via the "All Listings" button at the top of the page. By placing this link on every page, we maximize the chance of donors viewing your listing.
What
is the difference between a regular listing and a featured listing?
The regular listing only shows on the "All Listings" page and the featured listing places both on the "All Listings" pages and the home page. This give you maximum exposure.
How
do I cancel my subscription?
You may use the link below. Your subscription will be canceled and your listing removed within 24-48 hours. Credit will not be issued for partial months of service so please cancel your listing accordingly.
How
long does my listing stay active?
For as long as you keep your monthly subscription active. Don't be too quick to give up on your listing. You never know when the right donor will be knocking at your door.
Why was I
billed again?
The agreement of the subscription is that you are billed every month. You may cancel your subscription anytime and your listing will end within 48 hours of your cancellation.
What is DonorQuest?
DonorQuest gives you the greatest chance of success. Our highly trained staffed will review your listing and actively seek out and contact potential donors for you, pleading your case.
Is DonorQuest guaranteed to result in a donor?
As much as we'd love to find a donor for every listing on our website, that isn't possible. While DonorQuest isn't 100% guaranteed, it does give you a huge leg up with us actively searching and pleading for you. This saves you time also. Please also keep in mind, while working with certain donors and companies, it may take longer to receive a response.
Can I accept Bitcoins as donations?
Absolutely. You simply download the official Bitcoin client from bitcoin.org and get your very own bitcoin address. Simply paste the following at the bottom of your listing:
I accept Bitcoin donations, [INSERT YOUR BITCOIN ADDRESS HERE].
